Mindfulness wisdom will inspire leaders at the Own Your Story event in Newcastle. One of the guest speakers, Cazz LeMessurier, has shared these quotes.

Leaders can overcome imposter syndrome.

“But here’s the truth - teaching with confidence isn’t about knowing everything. It’s about trusting what you already know and trusting yourself.”

Guiding leaders to prevent burnout

“If you’re trying to do everything at once and suddenly waking up at 3 AM to 'be productive,' stop. There’s a better way. This foolproof method breaks your big goals into bite-sized wins so you actually make progress (without losing your sanity).”

Mindfulness can help leaders and communities.

“Your breath is your anchor, and when you ground yourself, you trust yourself. Confidence isn’t about perfection - it’s about presence.”

Prioritising health during success - Kathy Rimmer

Even during success, pause and know what you need.

“When your body signals distress, stop.

Don’t ignore it.”

A step at a time

“Small, consistent actions towards your goals are more sustainable and less overwhelming. The path is not always a straight line —expect and embrace detours.”

Allow time for what you need.

“Schedule breaks, prioritise self-care, and remember that doing nothing is sometimes the most productive action you can take for your health and sanity.”

Be mindful of present realities.

“Accept where you are, your limitations, when and how you need help.”
